    3. Judy the 1910 Spokane Census is pretty interesting for Martin Cassidy, it includes his wife Julia and his father John. I made a copy but the microfilm was so poor there that you cannot read it. Maybe you can find a better copy It is ED 192 Sheet 4B lines 64-67. I also found Martin and Julia in the 1900 census, and the obits for John, Martin, Julia, Margaret and Levi. I looked for George and could not find his death date. He was listed as living with Martin in the 1910 city directory, but in 1911 Margaret was a widow. He is not in the Washington or Idaho death index, nor is he buried at Riverside with his wife or the Cassidys Need your address to mail these copies to you. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3BC.2ACE/1895.4 Message Board Post: Susan, I have lived in Rockford most of my life, and have in my possession some old bill headings from, now non-existant buisinesses, I see that in 1886, the paper was called The Rockford Enterprise. By 1904, it was the Rockford Register. I remember when the Rockford Register and the Fairfield Standard were combined to then become the Standard-Register. I don't remember the year, but would have been long after the early 1900's dates you are searching for. I remember it being a sad day when the Editor/Publisher moved his printing press from Rockford to Fairfield, as it was always fun on the day the paper was being printed to stop on our walk home from school, and watch the old machinery putting out the paper. Although, I do remember, in later years, the paper publishing excerpts from time to time from "50 or 25" ? years ago. I would also suggest EWU at Cheney, WA as being a good place to search.

Both of the children of Josephine "Nina" (nee Tanco) Howell Burton were married by the 1929 publication of the City directory. If you could or would look for Felicia Helen (b.1901) or William James Maclam/MacLam, they must have married prior to 1925 because their first child was born during that year. I really don't have much other than some vitals on them, however, they may have been in King County since this is the location of their burials. Nina's other daughter, Madeleine H. "Maddie" Howell had married Anthony William/William Anthony? Morris. I don't have the date of marriage but she was born in 1891 and would have been about 38 years old. Several researchers... some being family members have interviewed this couple and they never had children. Sooooo, I guess this will be the "end of the line" for her. If I can help you look for something... give me a shout and I'll give it a whirl... Thanks again, bunches!!! deb in texas-----
