The 1920 Federal Census showed them living in their own house at 123 West Bridge Avenue, along with their son, Athol B. Gorrill, 26. The 1930 census recorded them living alone in their own house at 60 Broadway. Margaret's family name before marriage would be a bonus. I'll be most grateful for your help.

While this does not give you history, there was a Kelly who had his own family cemetery. It eventually was donated to the Catholic Church in Deer Park and is now called St Mary Cemetery, the first Catholic cemetery was Holy Redeemer. I listed the first two cemeteries separately and then combined. I believe this one was Peter Kelly. http://www.mrail.net/data/cemete/wash/spokane/kelly/kelly.htm http://www.mrail.net/data/cemete/wash/spokane/holyredeemer/redeemer.htm http://www.mrail.net/data/cemete/wash/spokane/stmary/stmary.htm Maggie Rail At 01:00 AM 1/28/2003 -0700, you wrote: >This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > >Surnames: Kelly >Classification: Query > >Message Board URL: > >http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/mbexec/msg/5538/3BC.2ACE/1927 > >Message Board Post: > >My great-great grandparents, Patrick and Mary Diana (FLYNN) KELLY were living near Chatfield, Fillmore County, MN by ca 1860. Hi, I'm trying to locate a Clifford Young who may have had a child with Lucy Michel Jones in the mid 1920's in Spokane, Washington. I have a Certificate of Birth from the Deaconess Hospital in Spokane listing Clifford Young of Barlow Emp. Office (residence) as being the father of an unnamed male child who was born on May 29, 1926. It was signed by R. E. Beneviste (Physician). The baby died within a year or two I believe but I'm not sure exactly when. Lucy Michel, (b. 1897, Polson, MT) was listed as the mother. Lucy and Clifford weren't married. I have found a Clifford Young who was institutionalized at the Washington State Penitentiary on January 11, 1919. He was sentenced out of King County for Burglary 2nd. He was given a sentence of 1 -15 years and was subsequently paroled February 9, 1920. He was discharged on July 26, 1921. This may be the same Clifford Young Lucy had a relationship with. Lucy is the biological mother of my father, Robert Webb (b. 1923, Spokane, WA) who was adopted out of Spokane, WA in the mid 1920's. Lucy also had another child, Franklin Jones, who was born June 12, 1926. She lists Herbert Lee Jones of the Pedicord Hotel, Spokane, as the father. Herbert had already been dead for five years so that was impossible. Franklin was committed from Spokane County to the State Custodial School where he died of Entro Colitis according to the certificate of death on Nov 19, 1926 and he was buried at Medical Lake. Franklin's father on the death certificate was listed as unknown. If anyone has any info on the above people, or know of another avenue I may take to pursue more information, besides contacting the Washington Department of Corrections, which I have already done, I would really appreciate it. Additionally, does anyone have an idea of what the abbreviation "Emp" stood for in Barlow Emp. Office? Empire....Emporia...? Thank you, Diane Caudle diamond@vnet.net
