I don't think any of those first four you listed are my guys, the Tony in 1915 could possibly be mine... I'm not sure what the (Angelina) is though. Frank's wife's name was Angelina. I found both Frank & Tony's WWI draft reg. cards for 1917-18 and oddly enough, Tony listed his nearest relative as Angelina and then crossed it out and listed his brother Frank! Another mystery I'm trying to solve is that at some point after Tony immigrated he had two children with someone. On the ship manifest in 1909, he says he is single, on the 1920 census, he says he is divorced, and on his marriage certificate to his 2nd wife in 1933, he says he is widowed!! Maybe Angelina was his wife's name too?!? Oh, these ancestors can be SO difficult!! Thank you for all your help! I really appreciate it! I have already checked the census for 1910, I have located both Frank and Tony in 1920 in Nez Perce, Idaho. Tony immigrated in 1909 and Frank in 1910. I cannot find them from the time they immigrated to 1918. In 1912, Frank's wife and chilren came to join him and the ship manifest says they lived in Spokane. At some point after they immigrated, they changed their last name from ANGELICCHIO to ANGELO. Thank you for your help! Author: Barbara_Ratcliff Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.washington.counties.spokane/5469.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: In the 1930 census for Opportunity, Spokane County, WA there is a family with Harley Nelson, 40 years old, born in Iowa; Eula L. Nelson, 39 years old, born in Washington; Eugene Nelson, 19 years old; and Eythel Nelson, 15 years old, the two children also born in Washington. In the Washington Birth Index, 1907-1919, on ancestry.com, there is a male Nelson Nelson, birth date 9 Feb 1911, born in Spokane City, with father Harley Nelson and mother Eula Starkey. In the California Death Index on ancestry.com (but free to search on rootsweb.com), there is a Eula L. Nelson, born 14 Dec 1891 in Washington, died in Los Angeles on 31 Oct 1960, mother's maiden name Miller. There's no father's name, but it seems this might have been Harley's wife. There is also in the California Death Index Eula B. Streckfuss, born in Washington 06/18/1893, died in Marin County, CA, on 02/08/1975. Unfortunately it doesn't give her father's last name or mother's maiden name. Her Social Security #, 559-26-5032, was issued in California before 1951. In the California Death Index Fred R. Streckfuss, born in Illinois on 04/16/1885, mother's maiden name Alberts, died in Los Angeles on 01/18/1961. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
