Hi Listers, I would like to find someone who is researching John HOBBS who was born in Spokane in 1921 to Arthur and Florence (Feyden???) Hobbs. The Hobbses are in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 federal censuses for Spokane. Arthur died there on November 24, 1941. Thanks, Janet Hobbs Johnson Minneapolis

I am hoping that their daughter Norma and her son Edward may be mentioned in their obits. In 1928 Melford Olson married Norma Nance in Spokane, Washington. Norma Lillian Nance was the daughter of William Harvey Nance and Dollie Adamson. Melford Olson was the son of Arne Olson and Louisa Neutze. In the 1930 census Norma Olson is living in Opportunity, Washington with a one year old son, Edward L. Olson - her husband is not with her and the census image could read D for divorced or M for married (sort of hard to read). In 1999 Melford Olson dies in Seattle but the death notice states that he was "of Des Moines". I do not have an obit for Melford. Melford was a cousin to my grandmother and over the years our families have lost touch. I would love to connect with relatives and share what information I have on these families. Sincerely Thelma Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
