Charles R. Martin, 1860 - btw 1910/1920, m. Luella M. Weigel, 1862-btw 1920/1930 They had the following children in OH: 1. Clara Maude Martin, 1885-1922 - married Harry Strauss (OH) 2. Fred Martin, 1890-1977 - married Elizabeth Mae (Elsie) -had Luella M. Martin and Edward E. Martin 3. Catherine Martin, bef 1891- 4. Harold Martin, 1894- aft 1930 5. Marion M. Martin, 1898-1980 - married Perry E. Easton (daughter Dorothy (Dot?) E. Easton) 6. Francis Martin, 1903-1989 - married Constance Richardson The whole family, except for Clara, moved to Spokane, WA between 1908 and 1910. Most importantly, I'm trying to track down death dates for Charles and Luella Martin, as this will help me locate birth dates and parents in Ohio. There doesn't seem to be a death index for Washington between 1910 and 1930. If anyone has access to city directories between those years and can track the history of Charles Martin, then we can estimate his year of death. Similarly, if we can track Luella Martin in the 1920s (she was living with Fred Martin), we may be able to pinpoint her year of death. Alternatively, if anyone has access to some sort of death index in Spokane County/Washington State, a death look up for both individuals would be greatly appreciated!! He lived in Dayton, Ohio. Marian (Schuer) Lucas died in Springfield on June 11, 1998. She was survived by four daughters: Sister Monica Ann of Spokane, Washington; Sara F. Lucas of Springfield; Mary Lucas of Albuquerque, New Mexico;(she was a nurse? she work on a hospital in Saudi Arabia?) and Monica (Lucas) Dunn of Springfield. Monica husband is William Dunn.
