Hi Dave......no, my Shaws originated in Halifax County, Virginia and there wasn't a Ray among them. The only Shaw to move to Washington was my Grandfather, JAMES T. SHAW (aka Sam) in the 1930's. It appears the entire family (Franciszek, Jadwiga, Edward, and Kazimierz) arrived from Rymanow, Poland enroute to Porth Amboy, NJ. Michigan. I only know of one sister my granmother had. Her Mother was Anna and I do not know her father's name.
