Rock, pioneer Everett resident and veteran of the Civil war, who died suddenly Monday evening at his home 2231 Norton avenue, will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from the Bayside Catholic church, the Reverand Father H.P. Saindon officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. John Buford Post No 89 G.A.R. will have charge of services at the cemetery. The casket is open to friends at the chahpel at Broadway and Wall. Theophilus Rock served with 1st WI Cavalry Co. L as a private from Star Prairie, WI. Mr. Rock requested pension in 1890 for that service from the state of MN. I find Theo Rock in 1910 Ev. census age 73 and widow says came to US 1855 b/Canada and parents b/Canada I find Theo in 1920 EV census with no information other then inmate at hospital and along with him is a Sylvia Rock with no other information then inmate at hospital. I cannot find Theo Rock in the 1880 census and nothing is mentioned in his obit as to surviving relatives. If you are researching this family would love to hear from you. [email protected]
