Frink, 82 died Saturday morning at his home, 21112 Oakes. Mr. Frink was a veteran of the Civil war, having served in battery B, First Michigan light artillery. He was a member of John Burford post, #89, of the G.A.R. Surviving are his wife Mary Frink, and four sons, George B. and Howard E. of Everett; Warren E., in California and Arthur C., in Kentucky and one daughter, Ellen May Frink, in El Paso, Texas. Funeral service will be held from the chapel of Challacombe & Fickel Monday afternoon at 2 O’clock, the Rev. C. E. Saunders will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. I cannot find Clark Frink in any census nor Mary after his death! Son, George B Frink is in Ev. 1910 but neither Clark nor Mary are there! Funeral records say Clark was b/2/14/1842 parents are Benj F. Frink & Anna Fairchild both from NY. does not state where Clark was born. Clark died 12/1/1923 his wife Mary C. Frink was born 3/29/1852 and parents were noted as Harry A. Cooper and Ellen Elliott both of Canada she died 11/13/1933 Children I have noted are George B, Warren E., Arthur F, Howard E. and Mrs. T.F. Wheelock (Ellen May) George Frink obit said he was born Redwood Falls MN. I find a C.W. French with sons Frank and Willie noted he was widower... Clark W. served in 1st MI Light Artillery Co. E & B as private in Civil war he requested pension from that service from MN cannot read date but looks like 1882 or 92.... his wife Mary requested pension at his death in 1923 from WA.
