Sept. 30- (Special)- Mrs. George Kelsey, wife of one of the first white settlers on the Snohomish river, was buried yesterday at this place. Susie Kelsey was an Indian woman, her aged parents residing at the present time on Tulalip reservation, where Mrs. Kelsey went to end her days, after giving up hopes of recovery from cancer. After her death the remains were brought here, and Rev. McKear, of the M.E. church, preached the funerals sermon. Mr. and Mrs Kelsey have resided many years on a farm near Monroe, and both have been highly respected.
