Mrs. J.H. Wells and family That is the only obit I found on J.H. Wells His burial records have him under Henry Wells b/4/13/1844 NY and died 5-9-1931 his wife was listed as Hattie W. Wells b/6/1/1853 died 2/24/1934. Hattie Wells put in for pension in 1931 after the death of her husband. She stated he served in 15th NY Cavalry. I found a Joseph Wells served in that unit but deserted. It was noted on burial that Henry Wells was a member of G.A.R. May (Hettie M.) Larraway was noted as informant on burial for Hattie and suspect daughter. She was b/1872 in NY yet cannot find J.H./Henry and family in any 1880 census. 1910 WA census says Henry Wells age 66 b/NY Hattie age 66 had 1child 1 living b/NY
