The Seattle Genealogical Society presents a two-day seminar: Using Your Computer in Genealogical Research on Saturday, November 6, and Sunday, November 7, at the Sand Point Education Center, 6208 40th Ave. N.E., Seattle. Four general-topic tracks will be featured: "Genealogical Databases," and "Computer Search Techniques" from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and "Digital Aids and Publishing" and "Ethnic Background Research by Computer" from 1 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Six lectures will be presented in each track on Saturday and four in each track on Sunday. Participants may attend any lecture in any track to hear knowledgeable and interesting presenters on the varied topics. Seminar fee for both days is $50 for members of the Society, $60 for nonmembers, if registered before October 10 ($55 and $65 thereafter). One day only registrations are available.
