DJ My father, Roy Ohse, Sr., was born in IL. - His parents were Albert Ohse (b. about 1895 in IL; d. 10/5/1961 in Orange Co., FL) and Clara (Scholz) Ohse. They married in 1920 in IL. Roy's brothers were Howard Robert Ohse (b. 5/21/1926 Chicago, COOK, IL; d. 8/28/1994)) and Albert Ohse (b. 3/27/1921, IL; d. 7/1966) Albert's father was Emil Ohse ... Emil was born about 1851 in Germany, and died on April 3, 1924 in Chicago. Emil's sons included Albert (b. about 1895 in IL; d. 10/5/1961 in Orange Co., FL) , Henry Ohse (b. about 1890) in Illinois, and Herman Ohse (b. about 1896) in Illinois. My research has shown that there is a family connection to Friedrich E. Ohse, Sr., born 1/10/1844 in Hanover, Germany. Friedrich died May 2, 1922 in Aurora, IL.
