Good morning, List Folks! Two things to tell you about - The FHC in Mountlake Terrace will be closed Saturday, 2 July and Monday, 4 July. Secondly, there's a neat new SnoCo resource on the Snohomish County USGenWeb Project site. A small informal group of researchers has gathered obits from the greater Stanwood area (which includes Camano Island in Island County) - an index to the CamWood Genealogical Workshop's data base can be found at http://www.rootsweb.com/~wasnohom/camwoodintro.htm At present, the CamWood data file contains obits from around 1963 onward, but I was told by a CamWood member that they would be starting to add obits from much earlier. The online index is still in "gramma test" mode. Please take a moment to test drive these new pages, and if you find areas that need tweaking, let me know OR email one of the CamWood contact persons.
