I'm trying to find info on a Louis (possibly went by Lenus) Nelson of Snohomish County. He married my grandmother Zion (Helen) McInnis in Skagit County on June 30, 1919, but marriage license lists them both as being from Snohomish County. My grandmother graduated from Arlington High School that same year, I believe. I am trying to obtain info on Louis, but I'm coming up short. I don't know his age, he was born in Sweden, and died several years into their marriage of tuberculosis, as the story goes. I can't find him on the death index. I don't know if they went to school together..I've looked at the archives of the Mount Vernon paper, looking for announcements of marriage/deaths, I'm wondering if I would have to travel to Olympia to look up Snohomish Co. newspapers?.If anyone could help, I'd be ever so grateful.
