Hello, Friends... At the SIGS meeting last night, we learned of the death, on 1 January, of B. J. Sparks. B. J. was an active member of the Society, and was one of those people who could always be counted on to volunteer for just about any project. Genealogy research was his great interest, and if you had any ties to the state of Texas, B.J. considered you "a cousin". Viewing is scheduled for noon to 5 on Thursday, 6 January, and 10 to 1 on Friday at Purdy and Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood. A graveside service is scheduled for 2 pm on Friday, 7 January at Floral Hills Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, 8 January, at St Timothy Lutheran Church in Edmonds. B.
