    3. Hello, List Folks! Our Dave Ault sent me this announcement re: the Seattle Gen Society's Computer Users Group's upcoming meeting... Marge ******************** The January 8th 2005 meeting of the Seattle Genealogical Society Computer Interest Group sponsors a demonstration of how to use the innovative genealogical research software called GenSmarts. Our speaker is CIG member Lisa Stewart. Lisa asks: "Do you need an easy way to get a research task list started?" Try GenSmarts, it will analyze your genealogical data file and produce a task list for you in minutes. It will lead you to WWW sites and libraries where you may find answers to your task questions. Lisa will review the basic installation of GenSmarts, explain what data files you can read, show us how to switch between different data files, and demonstrate how to focus on direct ancestors, plus useful other items. This meeting will be held on Saturday, January 8th, 2005 from 10 a.m. to Noon in the second floor conference room at NARA. The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is located at 6125 Sand Point Way NE in Seattle. Parking is available in the NARA lot. On the Metro Transit #74 and #75 bus lines.
