Arlington Times February 4th 1911 John Arnot, born London, England, Oct. 28 1831; died Arlington, Wash., Jan 27th 1911, aged 80 years and 9 months. The funeral service was held at Moll's parlors Sunday Jan 19th at 2 p. m. being conducted by Rev. H. W. Johnson. Deceased had been a resident of Massachusetts for 51 years, his wife dying eight years ago. He came to this state four years ago and has made his home with his eldest son, J. J. Arnot at Rolling Bay. At time of death he was visiting with his granddaughters, Mrs. R. C. Weston and Mrs. Hugh Murdock of this place. He leaves two sons, John J. and Wm. D. the latter residing in Seattle; also two daughters, Mrs. J. M. Percy, Athol Mass; and Mrs. W. H. Ryder, Fitchburg, Mass. Burial occurred at Trafton Cemetery beside his little grandson who died a few weeks ago.
