Hello, List Folks! The program at the March 2 meeting of the SnoIsle Genealogical Society will feature a round-table presentation on Writing Your Family History, chaired by Margaret Robe Summitt. Go to http://rootsweb.com/~wasigs/indexsigs.htm for time, locality and driving directions. You can also read the March issue of The Beacon, SIGS' monthly newsletter at http://rootsweb.com/~wasigs/indexsigs.htm Two articles of interest in this issue - "Good News" and "Bad News" - Bad news first - the upcoming field trip to the Fiske Library in Seattle is limited to SIGS' and Snohomish Senior Center members only. If you are interested in such a field trip later on in the spring, do let me know ! Good news - in the message from the SIGS president (also called the Monthly Prez Mess), folks were invited to participate in an online survey re: their use of the internet in their genealogical research. I was told by the designer of this survey (a doctoral candidate in Australia) that EVERYONE can participate, not just SIGS members. More good news - The Beacon will now list other societies' monthly meeting speakers, and not just "big" workshops, etc. Regards to all Marge
