The Eastside Genealogical Society will host a Family History Fair on Saturday, March 12th, 2005 at Crossroads Bellevue, N.E. 8th St. and 156th Ave. N.E. in Bellevue, WA. The hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no charge to attend and the fair is open to everyone. The fair's aim is to help people explore their family history and genealogy. Many groups will be on hand giving demonstrations, passing out information, and selling items related to family history. Participating groups will include German, Italian, Scandinavian, Czech/Slovak, Shore to Shore, and Computer Interest Groups of EGS; LDS Family History Centers; genealogical software representatives; libraries and archives; and historical societies. Attendees may ask for help with their family history research at a "Roots Diggers" table, and there will be a table selling used genealogical books and periodicals
