The Pellard Willis whose death in 1916 in Snohomish County, at age 60 years/8 months (Nov 1855), could "appear" to be Irving in the 1870 census. About the only way to identify just who this person was (at least in 1916) is to send this name, date of death, location of Snohomish in Snohomish County to the Washington Library: http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/ask.aspx The maiden name of "Margaret Brande" came rom the Washington Death Certicate Index. I went back to this site looking for Sarah: Miss Rachel Willlis died 13 Feb 1937 in Everett, Snohomish County at age 40 years, 6 months, 12 days. Father was Pollard Willis, mother was Sarah Willis. With that: The 1900 Census for Forest Home, Antrim Co, Michigan (The image on Ancestry.com is VERY light, the one on Heritage Quest is darker, neither really readible) Pollson (as trancribed by Ancestry, Pollard as trnscribed by Heritage Quest) Willis, head, 43? born in Ohio to both parents born in Ohio Sarah E, age 28? born in Michigan, mother of 8, 6 living Caroline, 17, MI Cora Z, October 1895? 14 Nellie, 1898, 2 I found two family tree's having Pollard.
