His home was at Gold Bar, where for the past 40 years he had followed mining and prospecting and serving as a guide. Surviving relatives are a sister, Mrs. Cora Smith and three nieces living near Des Moines, Washington. Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Challacombe & Fickel Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Christian Science Service will be held.
