Hello, List Folks! The Sounder is the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society's quarterly publication, filled with genealogical, historical and educational information. It's sure to be of interest to those who have ancestors in the Snohomish-Island County area, or who just enjoy the colorful history of this part of the great Northwest. The Sounder is available both in paper format AND online as an HTML document. Featured in the March issue is a wonderful biographical sketch of Chief Napoleon Bonaparte of the Snohomish People by Betty Gaeng. Sounder Editor, Margaret Robe Summitt, has written a article on Genealogy Chat Channels and how this resource might be a way for folks to break down brick walls in their own research.
