The book (Snohomish County In The War) that our genealogy society published contains an EVERY NAME index and is printed on acid free paper, etc. THe index alone is 40+ pages long. The used books are NOT indexed and are often in poor condition. Believe me, we checked this out thoroughly before we went to the trouble of indexing this book, a project that took a full year.
