Hello Sharon, I have a scan of the 1919-1920 Everett Polk Directory and it shows: Pg 537: Granite Stables (Herman and Peter W Poolman, Alfred Pearson), Auto Truck Freight Service, Daily Trips BetweenEverett and Granite Falls, Household Moving, All Kinds of Teaming, Wood and Coal, Everett Office 2120 Hewitt Av If you email me offline I can send you a scan of the Polk Directory page - lacquer@comcast.net. I did not find "Granite Stables" in the 1930 Polk Directory. The Granite Falls Museum has a lot of photos and information online.
