The remains were buried in the G.A.R. cemetery at Snohomish. The pallbearers were Messrs. Marion Houck, V. Shrum, Morris Shrum, John McCormick, G.E. Vincent, Fred McCormick, both of Everett. Rev. John Wells of "Everett conducted the services. Mrs. Black of Everett sang the funeral hymns. Mr. Barr leaves many friends in the valley where he had lived for about eleven years, also in Monroe and Everett. He is survived by his widow, five sons and three daughters. The sons are Archie of Seattle, George, Raymond and Harold of Monroe and Duncan of Snohomish. The daughter are Mrs. Norman McPhearson Of Vancouver, B.C., Mrs. F. R. Astley and Miss Vinita Barr, both of Portland, Oregon. Also three brothers and two sisters.
