Good morning, List Folks! Today I learned about the Seattle Genealogical Society's upcoming Fall Seminar - it's a great program! Read Jean Roth's announcement (quoted below) - Regards to all, Marge SAVE the DATE The Seattle Genealogical Society will have their Fall all-day Seminar on Saturday, October 17, 2009. Entitled "SHARING GENERATIONS, PAST & FUTURE", the keynote speaker in the morning is Mr. John Hughes, Chief Oral Historian of the Washington State Legacy Project. There will then be breakouts in three tracks: "Oral History: Voices from the Past", "Sharing Your Family History with Future Generations", and Using Technology to Share Youer Family History." There will be three sessions in each track. In addition, there is an all day Beginner's Genealogy Class: "Growing Your Treet From the Ground Up", and a Special Workshop for Grandparents and Grandchildren: "Present Voices, Past Memories."
