This program will help you narrow down your choices to choose the one that's just right for you. We'll look at a few ways to quickly sort the broad feature sets to help you evaluate the programs. You'll walk away with list of criteria to use when selecting genealogy software programs. You will learn current and future trends in online software, genealogical "social networking" and how the use of online sites for genealogy can put you in touch with others researching the same families in the US and internationally. About Our Speaker Dawn Bingaman compiled her first pedigree chart for a Girl Scout project when she was very young. Thirty years later she's still avidly working on her family tree. She is a long-time member of the Seattle Genealogical Society and co-chair of the SGS Computer Interest Group.
