I am a descendant of Erastus Addison Hall through his daughter Sarah Jane Hall Stuver and have put together LOTS of info on the family. I have an original copy of the obituary of E. A. Hall. Frankie was Frankie May and not a son which explains why you couldn't find her in the Civil War rosters. E. A.'s wife Mary Jane Clark (not Warner - that was from her stepfather) died April 10, 1903 and we have a copy of her obit. One of the Halls in the area was E. A.'s sister Nancy Minerva and she married first Lorenzo Dow Warner and 2nd William Warner. They moved to Kansas also which is where her and E. A.'s father, Joseph, died. I haven't checked out the other Halls in Christian County but know some were in Indiana and Michigan at various points. I have traced the Halls, and their connections back to Jamestown and early Delaware and Maryland. The only mystery I have been unable to unravel is Mary Jane Clark's parentage. We believe her mother was Mar! y Clark who was born in PA but we have nothing else. If you can shed some light on that we would be most grateful. My sister and I would be more than happy to share information. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
