I am doing research on the Marius & Markus HOLM family who settled in Snohomish County in about 1910. Marius was born in 1846 in Norway and was married to Oliane Kristoffsdaughter (or Christenson) and settled in Monroe. They and and most of their children are buried there. Their son, Markus was born in 1888 Norway and was married to Doris Marie LEVERENZ, who was born in 1909 in Libby, MT. They settled in Monroe also and are buried there. Doris' father was Franklin J. LEVERENZ born Feb 7, 1884 in Arizona and her mother was Lilly HEISE born in about 1897 in Iowa. Doris' sister, Dorothy was born in about 1912 and married a William Clarence FORTIER. They had one child that I can find, a Clarence William born in 1929, died 2006 in Sultan. I am interested in connecting with anyone who has ties to these families, and as always, I would be more than happy to share what information I have on them with anyone who is interested.
