Weimer, a veteran of the civil war and a well known resident of the community, died suddenly Sunday and was buried Tuesday morning with the members of the G.A.R. from Snohomish and Monroe attendance to do honor to the remains. The deceased was 77 years of age and is survived y the widow and three daughters in the east. He was born in Pennsylvania and enlisted as a private in the 41st Regt. And was discharged in 1862 disabled. Reenlisted as a sergeant for 100 days in 1864. After the war he moved to Minnesota and lived there 25 years. He then moved to Fitzgerald, GA., where he was postmaster for some time. After 12 years he moved to Monroe remaining here until his death. Azariah S.
