His father was Daniel Mahoney, mother Annie Lowe. --George Mahoney died 8 August 1943 in "Rural Mason County", age 57 years 4 months 4 days. Father Daniel Mahoney, mother Annie Lowe. --The Washington State Library has a free research service, the ask-a-librarian program, where they will look for information in the archives, in this case the newspaper microfilm for an event, such as an obituary. They will look up to an hour and send you the results. Contact them at: http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/ask.aspx . Depending on the amount of requests, it could take up to a couple of weeks. --In a recent email I've received, the library receives about 60 inquiries a day. The WA State Legislature and Governor are looking for cutbacks, this "might" close the library, or seriously cutback on services.
