There was a school near Sunday Lake in 1910. Does anyone know the name of it? The number assigned to it on the 1910 plat maps is 68 but that school, the Preslien or Bluff School is in Cedarhome on the Prestlien property. (Section 26, Township 32N, Range 4E) Does anyone know where the Sisco School was located in 1910? Near the town where the shingle mills and stores were located? There is a school #83 east of Sisco, more like Sisco Heights (today) (Sectin 32 Township 31N Range 6E). Could this be the Sisco School instead of it being near the town area? The town of Sisco is located in Section 35 Township 31E range 5E.) Any help will be appreciated Michele

Hello, List Folks! The Sounder is the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society's quarterly publication, filled with genealogical, historical and educational information. It's sure to be of interest to those who have ancestors in the Snohomish-Island County area, or who just enjoy the colorful history of this part of the great Northwest. The Sounder is available both in paper format AND online as an HTML document. Featured in the March issue is a wonderful biographical sketch of Chief Napoleon Bonaparte of the Snohomish People by Betty Gaeng. Sounder Editor, Margaret Robe Summitt, has written a article on Genealogy Chat Channels and how this resource might be a way for folks to break down brick walls in their own research. The Table of Contents as well as links to all articles in the March issue of The Sounder can be found at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wasigs/SOUNDER0903TofC.htm You can find links to important articles from past issues at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wasigs/indexsndr.htm Regards, Marge
