( I don't automatically read the GenConnect queries etc. as they, now, belong to another group) I do suggest that people use GenConnect and GenForum plus USGW counties to register their surnames... 3 separate organizations. Genforum http://genforum.genealogy.com/ is a national website...created at first just for surnames and has given lots of success..(amazing success) GenConnect http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/indx/Wa.html is associated with Rootsweb and is more state/county orientated. USGenWeb Project http://www.usgenweb.com is the group I'm affiliated with by my Skagit County Page. I've given the national website... So lots of clicking may be in order.
