Hi. I did a quick search of my Skagit webpage http://www.rootsweb.com/~waskagit (used the PICO search) and did not find either name. Also looked through the History of Skagit and Snohomish 1906 book and found no one by those names mentioned Darilee ----- Original Message ----- From: Robert H. I want to thank everyone who responded to my request. I have a 1910 census, North Burlington, that shows both families. John Eichinger never married and Jesse Eichinger M. Fanise ? , had a stepson Marion McAfee but to our knowledge had no other children. A year ago I ask for a death lookup from the Funeral Home Records, Skagit Co., mortuaries 1907-1994. Found no Eichinger but my grgrandfather is buried in Greenhills Memorial Cemetery in Burlington. At the time I was told there was no Greenhill Memorial Cemetery in Skagitt Co. but I found it listed in the WSCA in Burlington. My grgrandfather was Daniel B. Eichinger, is buried in the older section of the cemetery. He died 11 June 1916. Dates are not on his headstone, has a goverment marker with his name and unit he served in in the Civil War. A second cousin found this and sent me a picture. There is some empty spaces around him that we wonder if perhaps at least John Eichinger may be buried here. I never found Jesse after 1910 census but John is listed in 1911-1912 Polk Directory, Skagit Co. Burlington tax list. $345. I found on the site in the 1946 telephone directory, Burlington, a John Erchinger that I believe probably was John, name misspelled. Went to SSDI but found neither man. Searched all surrounding counties but found nothing. What I am asking is does anyone have access to 1920 census? can someone look up the address and phone number of the Greenhill Memorial Cemetery [if they have a office or caretaker listed] ? And would someone look in phone book for a McAfee? Maybe this stepson married and had a family. Most of the decendents of this Eichinger live in OK and we are all wondering what become of these two boys. Thank you again. Phyllis
This is a lookup request for someone who lives in Skagit County. Is the Burlington Free Methodist Church still in existance? I had heard that it had been closed. If it is still open, could someone please send me an address. Thanks, Jacque Sacramento, CA http://sites.netscape.net/jqlopez/

My grandmother, Ruth Florence Davenport, daughter of James Kesterson Davenport and Mary Elizabeth "Bessie" Latham, graduated from Burlington High School in 1927. She then attended Bellingham Normal School. For a while she was an elementary teacher in Belfast and Anacortes. Does anyone know where I could write for records for the Burlington High School? Thanks for offering..I am stumped as to where to follow this. My gr grandmothers sister I found is Sedro Woolsey (sp?)..on the 1900 census as Sadie Frances Hall, with 4 children, Alice, Elmer, Bertha, and Nellie. By 1910..she is in Anacortes married to a Walter Dickerson.. She married him somewhere between 1900 and 1904..and their first son is born in 1904. Named Wm G. ..and another b: 1908 Norman F...(all on the 1910 census.). On that same census..Alice and Elmer are gone (probably married)..but Bertha, Nellie..and a Lollie are still at home as Hall children. By 1920..Sadie is gone. I have checked the death records until 1960 under last name Dickerson..nothing there. According to the Family History Center..I find a record of the entry on their Ancestral Files for Dickerson made out of Los Angeles County in the 1940's.. Do you find any marriage records from 1916 ..whenever you can stop for Sadie Frances Roat Hall Dickerson to someone else? How about the first two children? I have the death record of Walter from the Vancouver WA history center. How about the marriage cert of Walter and Sadie..where could I get a record of that?
