    3. Okay, I just set up a group called WashDCGen at Google Groups. I set it up as a mil list and w/similar parameters as this rootsweb list - people have to ask to join, only members can send/receive messages. If anyone is interested, reply to me only at [email protected] with your email address and I can have an invite sent to you. I am not really all that into managing the list, so once I figure it out and if current admins will continue, I am happy to transfer admin duties. i am a native Washingtonian and doing a lot fo online research for the area of late, hatye to lose this as a resource even if not that busy any longer! 3. I just sent a message to join. I use my [email protected] for google groups. You just need to make a pw. The messages come by email, I believe they no longer save the groups on web. I haven't checked on that. Used to be able to send pictures to the groups there but google didn't save them in the website. All I get from this is group emails. I long time ago I made it on firefox. I have a gmail address but don't use it for groups. I did hear some having problems using gmail for groups on google. Can't say everyone will have that problem. I hope many of us will join. Love this list and have so many relatives from DC/Georgetown I'll see how my health goes and if I can do it I'll help or take up admin duties, if not needed that will be fine :) Margy -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, February 13, 2020 10:41 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: [WashDC] Re: List amin message Could someone tell us non technocrats how the Google Groups works with regards to our years of interactions with DC rootsweb?
