I have some cousins I am trying to trace. My great grandmother, Rosalia Huddleson nee Walthers (1861 Washington, DC 1919 Washington, DC) sister, Clara Virginia Sonnemann nee Walther (1860 Washington, DC 1939 Washington, DC) and her husband, Ottmar H. Sonnemann (1859 MD 1939 DC) had a son named Charles Earl Sonnemann (Jun 1885 Washington, DC - ?) who married Edna unknown (presumably sometime before 1909 when the census shows their first child was born). I dont know when or where they were married. Perhaps DC? If some kind soul (SKS) has any information please do contact me. I have found Charles Earl Sonnemann with his family in Baltimore in the 1920 census. By the 1930 census Charles Earl Sonnemann has moved to Florida with his wife. I am trying to find their daughters. As one can see they are in the 1920 Baltimore census but not in the 1930 Florida census. Perhaps they married in Baltimore? Where can Baltimore marriages be looked up? Might there have been an announcement in the newspaper? The same goes for the large Sonnemann family. Any information, guidance and or suggestions of where and what to research would be appreciated.
