There is a Mary Soper, age 2 months, in the 1850 census for Berrys, Montgomery County, MD. She is the daughter of James P. and Amelia Soper. There is also a Mary Soper, age 2 yrs, in the 1850 census for Baltimore, MD, District 1. She is the daughter of Charles and Nancy Soper. I so no other Mary Sopers born in Maryland in the 1850 census that fit your rough age category.
