What we know is below including direct line descendancy: per our Huddleson family tradition every George had a William and every William had a George for at least seven generations. George, Henry, & William appear to be the male given names of choice in this HUDDLESON family. per family notes: William Huddleston/Huddleson father of George Huddleson (born approx 1822), wife Rebecca. "Atlas of Montgomery Cnty, MD" shows Wm Huddleson on map of Bethesda, 1878. Text says "Bethesda District #7 William Huddleston (note spelling difference!) 140 acres farmer born Montgomery Cnty Settlement: 1815." Birth (1796) and death date (1846) from Pat Ludlam's compilation. But 1840 Census shows birth between 1780/1790, born PA. >From the above we show direct descendancy with generation number on left as follows: 1.
