Before 1898, Lelia Goddin HAYNES of Richmond, Virginia m. William J. LaVarre who was a navy architect. They were in Staten Island, NY in 1911. Sometime after 1911 when their youngest son and my grandfather was born in NY, William left. He died abt. 1955. I have photographs of Lelia in her seventies living in D.C. If anyone has city directory access or census record access, would you please look up Lelia? I believe she would be listed under "LAVARRE" or "La VARRE" or even "de la VARRE" Children would be : William (b. 1898) Lucille/Lucie Franklin John Myrtland Claude Andrews (b. 1911) By 1925-30, William was married.
