I'm trying to help Sister Miriam John, a Carmelite nun at LaPlata. She tells me there was an article recently about Ann Mattingly of the "miracle" and the article states that John Mattingly, husband of Ann, died a few months before she did. Ann died in March, 1824. I have the National Intelligencer Abstracts from 1800-1839 except two volumes that are out of print--guess which one I don't have! I have 1823 and have checked that--no luck. So, it should be found early in 1824. Do you know anyone who may have these books that could do a look-up? I didn't see anyone on the D.C. page. Have a good Christmas?
