I received from an aunt this morning her verified application to DAR, and within it, my great grandmother's same. In 1948, my great-grandmother was living in "The Marlborough" at 917 18th Street NW in Washington. Does anyone know 1)if the building is still there and/or 2)what it was? apartments? hotel? boarding house? Thanks for any clues.
