Here's what I found at www.nleomf.com --The panel location indicates the placement of his name on the memorial wall at Judiciary Square in DC. WILLIE R GAWEN Officer Metropolitan, Washington D.C., P.D. Washington, DC Date of Death: 03/02/1915 Panel 34, E -9 I believe that MPD files on DC police can be obtained through the National Archives. My cousin obtained the complete personnel file of his great-grandfather, who was killed in the line of duty in 1918. Hope this helps!
