Donna, My husband is betting that Carroll Grayson Galt's parents/family was from the Galax, VA area. Galax is half in Carroll Co., VA and half in Grayson Co., VA. Add to that the fact that Woodrow W. Wilson was from Staunton, VA (Augusta Co.). We could be wrong -- but it might give you something to check out, anyway.
