Herdman is buried in the "King" family plot in Oak Hill Cemetery. I know of no connection to Jacob or Sue Herdman to the King family. Lot #775 was purchased 11/15/1869 and several members of the family were removed from elsewhere to this plot. Besides the Kings and their family members the only other person unknown is Elizabeth Culliver died 3/19/1888 age 65 y 2 mo and 7 days. The paper I copied from Oak Hill gave this info on Jacob D. Herdman Open grave No 1 West of Lot 776 (775) Place of Nativity; Wash DC Last Residence; Jackson, Fla DOD Oct 12, 1925 age 77 Cancer of Prostrate Gland Married Suse Herdman put the deposit down for lot No 776 Site No 1 West of Lot #776 Sue Herndon is buried next to Jacob.
