    3. The National Archives proposed 296% increase in copying fees for a Civil War pension file is ridiculous. The fee would go from $37.00 to $125.00 per file. I hope that those who are bothered by this will contact their Congressional senators/ representatives. Of course in DC, there is no Senator, but Eleanor Holmes Norton does have some clout.
