    2. The neighborhood where the DC Archives are located is not nearly as bad as it used to be. Shaw and the area around it have really changed in the last few years. Those beautiful old houses are being done up and the neighborhood is revitalized. Jane Donovan

    3. I remember visiting the DC archives years ago and coming home to tell my hubby that we really should invest in one of those run down rowhouses. Now you can't touch one for under one million. The area has gotten alot better. You just need to be careful or do what I've done in the past...post to the list for a buddy to go with....it's always worked. Or take a cab.
