Have you'll been to the Library of Congress panoramic maps site? These are hand-drawn maps showing the buildings in the city and the streets are named. You can download a Mr. Sids Adapter for free, download and save as many maps as you want, and the Mr. Sids viewer enables you to enlarge any section for printing out or viewing. You have to register with the viewer manufacturer, but that is no problem, and they never sold my address to anyone. I have about 10 DC maps going way, way back to when there was a canal on the mall.
