    3. If they'd only elect Carol Schwartz for Mayor, things might improve. The last fifteen years of bad Mayors has not helped that city. And getting rid of the dead wood in the city government would be a plus. This is one of the reasons why I moved out of D.C. -----Original Message----- From: Janice M. Do not order a will. You will never get it. It is a waste of time. I have two certificates of research for two death certificates that they could not find. I lost $24 on those. They are there. This would be a very lucrative business for someone that would be willing to take the time to retrieve these documents for people that are unable to research themselves. I am willing to pay and I think many others would do the same. Prior experience dealing with D.C. research seems hopeless if not impossible. They make it hard because most of the district "workers" are lazy and useless. There are still a few worthwhile organizations that will help. D.C. Archives had been very helpful in the past, but they probably don't have the funds and probably never realized their archives would become so popular. I think if they request a small price for the documents, they'd gain some revenue. I'm sure most people wouldn't mind paying for it. Mount Olivet Cemetery charges $50 for 10 names. It used to be free. I would glad to pay for the services.and the cost of the certificates. Going to DC myself is not an option. My husband is unable to travail at this time. I appreciate any help you can give Thank you RoseAnn ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
