Happy Fourth Everyone Just wondering if anyone knows about the DC Police - I have an ancestor, Alphonso Vermillion - his death certificate says that he was employed by the "Capital Police" - I've researched the "Capitol" police and that came up empty. I know for sure that his son, Howard, was a detective in DC. My thought is that there may be pictures. I know the precinct where his son worked - but is there a central place to contact?
