    3. Hi, I was told many a time by a number of people that they sent things by mail free. So, three times I requested copies of wills for DRURYs and I had the year and box numbers. They never responded. One of the times, I even made it to the attention of a particular person who was supposed to ALWAYS respond, even if it took a little while; well, that was about a year and half ago or more, Finally, someone pulled them for me (while there, I think). I had a bad experience at the Washingtonia Room of the MLK library downtown, too. I was there with my daughter and I had two objectives: the obit for my maternal ggrandfather, John Dominic Donegan and some research on POOREs in DC/Georgetown. There were two employees there. I asked for assistance in pulling the obit and the lady couldn't have been more rude. She remained seated in a chair and pointed in the general direction of some file cabinets. When I asked her specifically if it were indexed and some other info, she said I would have to figure that out! I walked out and went to GU for dame data - they were very helpful. I did receive a message from someone of some degree of authority from MLK when I wrote about it and that he could help me in the future. Well, since I can't get there too often, that isn't all that helpful...
